Travelling on private transport is usually more expensive than public transport due to the cost vs time factor and quantity. With public transport, you have more people sharing the same ride with you so the cost is being shared among many people. And with subsidies given by government for public transport as well, the notion of private transport being expensive has never been broken until now. Take a look at my receipt below from using Grab which is a app that allows you to book a ride.

This is literally like defying the law of gravity with respect to private transport. How is it possible that private transport can cost cheaper than public transport. And it is not just cheap, it is travelling for FREE!
Actually, it isn't some sort of illegal hack or Photoshop done. Anyone can do it with the Grab app and below are the 3 steps on how i did it.
Step 1): Open the Grab App (If you have not download it before, you can sign up via my link ==> https://invite.grab.co/ernest28535)

Step 2): Check out for promo code either in the "Notifications" in the app or ask your friends or search on the internet.
Step 3): Input the promo code and check to see if it is valid before clicking on "Book"
