How to hack the Lift aka Elevator

Guess what is the average number of times that a person takes the lift aka elevator per day?

Do you know the average person take 4 trips per day, 250 days per year. That adds up to 1000 trips in a year! And with the average elevator ride being 118 seconds long due to people getting off at different floors, you are spending about 32 hours of your time in a year inside the lift! Imagine being stuck inside a lift that goes up and down non-stop for a day or worse still, you enter the lift and the guy besides you start pressing all the floors...

Fortunately, there is a way to hack the lift although you should only do it in times of emergency (Emergency includes being late for appointment with your client/boss/wife/girlfriend or going to the toilet, etc) and it only requires 2 easy steps.

Step 1

Press the buttons of 3 consecutive floors. It can also be the floors that are already pressed.

Step 2

Next, press the button of the floor that you want to go to and that's it! You have successfully managed to cut short the amount of time spent in the lift by getting to your floor first and also irritated/confused the passengers that are in the lift with you!

Do execute this hack with cautions though since people might get angry with you! Another tip is to stand near the buttons when you are in the lift and press the buttons discreetly so that others cannot see what you are doing!

(PS: Use with caution. Not my fault if you get beaten up for using this hack)
