Step by step guide on how to use TravelSmartRewards

In my previous post on "How to legally make money for taking MRT or LRT in Singapore in 2017", I shared that you can use Travelsmartrewards to make some money while taking MRT or LRT. From the feedback that i received, the comments were about the post that it wasn't very clear on what they should do after signing up. So to make things easy, this blog post will be a step by step guide to help you through the process.


Step 1) 
Go to TravelSmartrewards website and sign up or login

Step 2) 
Once you are at the homepage, click on "Settings" which is found on the top right.

Step 3)
Once you are at the "settings" page, scroll down until you can see the three important fields which are "Bank Account", "Card Number" and "Redeem mode".

Step 4)
Fill up these three fields correctly.
For "Bank Account", you can choose to receive the payout either to your bank account or directly to your Travel Card.

For "Card Number", you are to put in the cepas number which can be found at the back of your card that you use for taking MRT or LRT

For "Redeem Mode", you can decide to earn cash via "spin game" or "cash buyout". Personally, i chose "Spin game" and "Automatic" since i feel that it is easier to win than "cash buyout" and i do not have time to monitor it.

Step 5)
Once these are done, that's it! You can now start taking MRT or LRT during the weekdays to earn points. To be sure, you can check back on the website to see if you are really earning points for your MRT or LRT rides. It usually takes about 3 days to be reflected into your account.

Do maximize your points earned by taking the MRT or LRT during non-peak hours as shown below.
