What if I could tell you that instead of having to get them by yourself in stores, you can have a personal butler to get these items for you. Which means more free time to do important stuff like watching netflix or korean drama... (Fan of running man here)
Then you should seriously seriously seriously check out Honestbee which I would give it a 9 out of 10. I am quite hard to please person if you know me but I was totally blown away by their services and will share more later on why the experience is still not yet perfect.
In a nutshell...
Honestbee is a online concierge and delivery service. In simple terms, you tell them what you want from the stores which i mentioned above and they buy and send it to your house. By the way they do it pretty quick. For my purchase, I ordered at 6.43pm on Sunday night and by 7.51pm, the delivery man was at my doorstep already. That is like 1 hr and 8 mins!
If you ask me how long will i take if i did it myself by going to the stores, it would probably take even longer like 2 hrs considering the time spent on travelling to and fro. And it will be even longer with the number of items chose by my mum. Just look at the things that we bought in the picture below. The receipt is also so long that it is longer than a 30cm ruler. With honestbee, no more looking like a fool carrying all the plastic bags out of the store and spending more money on cab when i can simply wait for it to "magically" appear at my front door.They probably do a better job of shopping groceries than me!
How it Works
Step 1

Step 2
Select on the stores that you want to buy from. I will use NTUC Fairprice as an example since most people would have bought from NTUC Fairprice before. Simply click on the items that you want to buy by clicking on "Add to Cart".
Step 3
Pick on the items that you want to purchase. You get to enjoy free delivery if you purchase above $50. I chose Ayataka Green Tea since who doesn't like Ayataka Green Tea? Click on "Check Out" where you will need to choose the delivery timings.
Step 4
Pick the dates and timing that you prefer. There are timings where the delivery cost is free and peak timings that need to top up $1.
Step 5
Do remember that when you are about to make payment, make sure that you are using the correct credit card for the maximum returns, voucher codes to get more discounts and shop via a cashback site for greater savings. And also check that the final amount is correct.
Step 6
After placing the order, simply wait for the item to arrive at your allocated time slot.
If during the purchase by the shopper bee that the item is out of stock, they will call you to see if you want other substitutes or remove it from the list. For my purchase, they called me and i told them to replace it with other items.
Step 7
During the delivery, the delivery bee will be at your door step so get ready to collect it from them when they come. For my delivery, i picked the time slot of 9pm - 10pm. The delivery bee called me at 7.30pm asking me if they can deliver it to my place now. Since i was already at home, I told them that they can come now instead. The initiatives taken by them in making things happen was really impressive.
Step 8
Do remember to check the items when you received it. As i mentioned earlier on why i only gave them a 9 out of 10, it was because I was being charged extra for an item that i only received 1. It could either be some glitch or careless mistakes but it was resolved quite promptly by the customer service team so kudos to them.
Step 9
After you have received the items, they will email the final receipt to you which states the amount that you paid and the items that you received and did not receive.
