How I think the World will evolve with the COVID-19 (Personal Thoughts)



I decided to pen this down to see if it becomes a reality on how the world will evolve with the COVID-19.

All these are personal thoughts and personal reference only.

Daily Outside of Home
When outdoor, masks are required at all times
When going into buildings/transportation that involves interaction with another human being, smartphone tracking is set up to exchange contact touchpoints.
This is for contact tracing purposes to allow historical records of people's location and interactions.


Overseas Travel
People who want to travel overseas may be required to do testing at departure and upon arrival for the virus.
Masks and gloves are required at all times.
Eating meals are not allowed on board plane
Passengers may have to social distance on the plane by having gaps between seats.


Local Travel
Bus: Controlled capacity and gaps between seats
Train: Controlled number of passengers allowed to board and queue at stations
Cabs: Masks required at all times


Shopping
Limited capacity allowed.
All visitors are required to do temperature taking.
Masks at all times
Staggered hours
More people go online shopping
Retail shops becoming more like pickup points
More Retailers move online


Working
More WFH.
Staggered working hours
Minimized human interactions.
Spacious seating arrangements


Eating/Dining
Spacious seating arrangements
Temperature taking and exchange of contact touchpoints
An increasing trend of takeaway


Payments
More widespread adoption of e-payments
Reduce physical cash transactions
