If you are a lobang-holic (someone who likes to find good lobang) like me, then you are probably always looking for ways to stretch every dollar that you spend. From using the right credit card for spending (Rewards for Using Credit Cards) to using Shopback to earn "Free Money" for your online spending (11 Tips and Tricks that all Smart Online Shoppers Must Know), there is still so much that I have yet to discover.
Recently, I chanced upon this app and felt that it will be a good lobang to share with you. It is called "Snapcart" and you can find it in the apple store (Click here to go to apple store) and google play store (Click here to go to google play store).
For those who do not know, Snapcart is actually quite similar to the Capitastar app (Be Rewarded for Taking Pictures of your Receipts (CapitaStar)) which I wrote about previously. Basically you snap a picture of your receipts and upload it to the app. And cashbacks will be awarded to your account based on the value of your purchase. Below is the table of the rewards.
Important to Note
Another thing to note is that Snapcart only awards you cashbacks for items that fall under the category of groceries, medicines and cosmetics. Items in the receipt that fall outside of these categories will not be awarded cashbacks. Hence it is unlike the Capitastar app that gives you CapitaStars for any receipts that is from a tenant of Capitamall.
And you have only 3 days from the day that you received the receipts to snap a picture of the receipts and upload it to Snapcart. Otherwise your entry will be considered invalid.
Shopping Hack
Previously I wrote about a shopping hack using Fave (Experience More with Less (Fave)) whereby you can stack different rewards in one single purchase. Similarly, you can do the same with Snapcart as well. I am looking at possibly stacking 4 rewards together which I have highlighted below.

In order to enjoy this 5 tier rewards, below are the pre-requisites.
1. User uses Favepay to pay for item which is linked to a credit card.
2. Item purchased is a merchant partner of NTUC Link.
3. Merchant is located within Capitamall.
4. Items purchased are groceries, medicine or cosmetics.
With all these pre-requisites fulfilled, imagine the amount of rewards one can get.
LinkPoints is about 1.5%
Credit card is about 3%
Favepay rewards is about 1%
Snapcart cashback is about 1%
Capitastar Rewards is about 1%
You are looking at about 7.5% rebate by using this 5 rewards combined.
Currently I do not use much of Snapcart as I rarely buy stuff such as cosmetics, groceries or medicine. For those of you who are often the one that buy such stuff, it might be worth taking a look and using Snapcart. There is no cost involved so why not use it and get back some extra rebates.
Let me know if you have used Snapcart and how is your experience with it. Go ahead to comment about it and don't forget to subscribe via email or like our Facebook page for the latest updates!
